Dan has many years experience in triathlons including all distances from sprint through to Ironman distance. In 2011 Dan decided to give a little back to Andover Triathlon club as a thank you and gained his British Triathlon Federation level 1 coaching status and progressed to BTF Level 2 in May 2013.
Dan is one of several members of the club who has represented Team GB as an age-grouper at World and European Championships.
Paul has always been a keen sports person since being in the Army and decided after many years of White Water Kayaking, in which he completed his level 4 Kayak proficiency and BCU level 2 coaching qualification, that he needed a new challenge and what better than Triathlon.
Since starting in 2007 he has participated in all distances form Sprint to Ironman, and after IMUK 2010 he decided longer distances were the way forward and is now participating in Ultra marathons.Paul gained his BTF level 1 coaching award in 2009 and BTF level 2 in 2015, as he wanted to give back some of the coaching and support which he received from the club in his early years of triathlon.
Peter took up triathlon over 10 years ago when he was persuaded to try the Super Sprint distance at the London Triathlon. Since then he has participated in numerous events, from sprint and standard distances to half and full Ironman™ triathlons. Having completed Ironman™ France in 2014, he improved on his time at Ironman™ Sweden in 2015.
Having been inspired by the club’s highly motivated coaches, Peter is himself now a Level 1 British Triathlon coach, with aspirations of attaining the Level 2 qualification in the not too distant future.
